How do we meet for a consultation?

I meet primarily by video (Zoom), with some exceptions for in-person meetings under specific circumstances.

How long is a consultation?

I offer all prospective clients a free 15 – 20 minute initial phone meeting to assess your needs and ensure my offerings are an ideal fit for you. After that, my sessions typically are 75 minutes for an individual consult and 90 minutes for a family consult. Book an initial phone meeting here.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance and am private-pay only. I have a limited number of sliding scale fee slots for people experiencing economic hardship (please inquire further if this describes your situation).

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept Ivy Pay, checks, and cash.

What is your licensure?

I received my master’s degree in social work from Portland State University in 2003. I obtained my clinical licensure in 2007.

What services do you provide?

I provide consultation for individuals and families caring for a loved one with dementia. My core services are to help you better understand the nature of dementia as a disease, to help you plan for the future, and to help you get the support and self-care you need as the caregiver.  Do you provide services for people with dementia? 

My core service is to help people who are caring for loved ones diagnosed with dementia. The resulting planning and partnership will yield transformative results for both caregivers and those who are under their care.

When are your services needed?

When you are facing difficult decisions regarding the person you are caring for, struggling with burn out, grief, anxiety, family conflict, when your loved one doesn’t recognize they need help, help communicating goals of care to medical professionals, referral to resources as appropriate.

How often will we meet?

Every client’s situation and needs are different, depending upon their unique circumstances and the level of support they are looking for. My aim is to help you build a roadmap and plan for how to support your loved on with dementia —as well as yourself. We can meet once, twice, or multiple times along the journey. I am here to be an ongoing resource and consultant in the way that works best for you.
